About Rita Emmett

A former pack rat and recovering procrastinator herself, Rita is now a professional speaker who helps others combat clutter and procrastination through her workshops. As an author she has written 'The Procrastinator’s Handbook,' 'The Procrastinating Child,' and 'The Clutter-Busting Handbook.' She has appeared on the 'Today Show' as well as in TIME, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Family Circle and Parents. Rita loves adventure and has gone swimming with sting rays, ridden a mule to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back (twice), driven a race car and gone rafting in white-water rapids.
